BIO-ALL was at the Born from Knowledge (BfK) conference

Born from Knowledge (BfK) is a program promoted by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Higher Education through the National Agency of Innovation, (ANI), under the SIAC – Knowledge Transfer Initiative, co-financed by COMPETE 2020 through Portugal 2020 and the FEDER. The BfK Idea Contest, annually receives projects submitted by partner Higher Education Institutions, encouraging and supporting their work. The 2019 edition of this initiative received a total of 30 business ideas in four categories: Health and Wellness; Tourism, Cultural and Creative Industries; Natural Resources, Environment and Climate Change; and Advanced Production Materials and Technologies. On September 17th and 23rd the preparation of participants from the North region took place at the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro, in Vila Real; in which Dina Pereira and Ângela Gonçalves from UBImedical – Incubator of the University of Beira Interior, attended as mentors for the teams. The BIO-ALL project was presented and brochures were distributed to the participants and mentors of the event.
