30 Oct BIO-ALL’S JOINT POST GRADUATION WAS LAUNCHED…AND VERY WELL LAUNCHED!
The International Joint Post-Graduation course on “Advanced Skills for Innovation and Entrepreneurship in the BIOHEALTH Sector” was launched on October 15th. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the course takes place online.
In Portugal the course is coordinated by Universidade da Beira Interior (UBI), that received more than 20 applications to fill out the 10 vacancies. Since there was an extreme interest by researchers, students and entrepreneurs from the whole country, UBI accepted 12 students. In Spain, 10 students were also enrolled as well as 3 students in Italy.
The feedback from the students is very promising, highlighting that:
“The beginning is launched! And so very well launched! That’s what I felt! Enjoyed first classes, lots of practical examples, a lot to learn but very well tailored!” (Ana Clara Cristóvão, CEO at NeuroSoV, Researcher at UBI)
“The first impressions are extremely positive as the organization of the course, the professors and the presentation format align with my initial expectations. It’s a crucial theme for my personal development and I hope to learn new skills on the BIOHEALTH sector in addition to augmenting my network of contacts in this sector.” (Vítor Crespo, CEO PositiveBizCapital)
“My expectations were without a doubt very high, I think that both at the level of the professors and colleagues we have a lot of workspace so that the result will definitely be brilliant”. (Diana Pires, CEO ihcare – innovation hospital care)
“Knowledge is power! Acquiring the know-how for the implementation of ideas in the health sector, since everything that touches experimenting with humans and/or medical devices always has a set of ethical issues to overcome, as well as several stages of implementation and it is important to know all aspects for a better planning of the development of new projects or ideas. In addition, I believe that it will be a great opportunity for me, not only in terms of knowledge but also in terms of career for possible partnerships that may arise.” (Dolores Gama, Intern Physician at Central Hospital of Covilhã)
“The postgraduate course is very interesting, with very high level instructors from the entrepreneurial world and it is a big opportunity for meeting entrepreneurs from other countries, knowing about their projects and sharing our knowledge and vision. For the moment, we only had 3 classes but I am sure we will learn a lot from the instructors and that we will make very valuable contacts along the way.” (Gema Rojas)
“I really thank the interest and involvement of the professors in helping us to achieve our goal of creating or improving our startup. They have direct experience in the challenge of creating Biohealth new companies, and it is a very good point. An international postgraduation like this provides us a global vision with different ways of thinking, apart from supplying us a very important and valuable networking environment.” (Alberto Díaz)
“This post-graduation is giving me all the tools I need to start my own business. Excellent adventure, in an international environment, with high level professors.” (Laura Jimenez)
