EVENTS

The Bio-All project is built-on a sound participatory approach, where representatives of the end-users, are called to participate and play an active role in co-creating, co-working and co-sharing activities. This is achieved through a set of small scale-events that with different purposes, have a similar root: to engage end-users in the processes and boost the sense of ownership of the “insight community” (which in turn will bring benefits in their motivation to sustain the results achieved).

Igniting events

Seminar type events targeted aimed at informing and attract future investors, patrons and benefactors about/for the products, University-Business cooperation, and international schemes created by the project.

These events, lead by Business partners in Portugal, Spain and Italy, will be open to the different actors of the ecosystem and will create a loud and clear message about the project ambition and charter of commitments at the very beginning of the project.

It will be the first opportunity to know more about the Bio-All. Stay tuned and consult the news section for further information.

Unconferences

Participant-driven open space meeting/conference, where there is a high-level structure and theme, but the topics are generated by the participants on the spot, and breakout groups are formed dynamically based on interest and relevance.

These events, targeted to representatives from academia, business and incubators/accelerators, will be organized in two rounds:

  • a first round to collect inputs on possible structure, features and contents for the Blueprint for Innovation and Entrepreneurship in BIOHEALTH sector as well as for the International Joint Post-Graduation;
  • a second round to debate and gather feedback on the draft version of the Blueprint, as well as to debate and discuss on possible structure, features and contents for the International Joint Accelerator Programme.

This pair of events will be organized jointly by Academia and Business partners in Portugal, Spain and Italy. If you are interested, please contact us!

Sparkathons

Seminar type events targeted to potential end-users to be involved in the piloting phase of the International Joint Post-Graduation and International Joint Accelerator Programme (led by Academia and Incubators/Accelerators partners).

These events will also allow the dissemination of the Blueprint and awareness raising for the mutual benefits of incorporating innovation and entrepreneurial in BIO-related learning contents as well as imbedding a sectorial (BIOHEALTH) approach into innovation and entrepreneurial programmes (unleashing the potential of the sector and idea-to-market processes). These events, targeted to representatives from academia, business and incubators/accelerators, will be organized in two rounds:

  • a first round matching the preparatory measures for piloting of the International Joint Post-Graduation;
  • a second round matching the preparatory measures for piloting the International Joint Accelerator Programme.

This pair of events will be organized jointly by Academia and Incubators/Accelerators partners in Portugal, Spain and Italy. If you are interested, please contact us!

Gear Box Labs

  • one targeting only students enrolled in the post-graduation;
  • other targeting seed-stage companies selected for the acceleration programme;
