New Acceleration Program focused on reimagining cancer through innovation

“Novartis España and Conector Startup Accelerator have launched an acceleration program for startups, dedicated to the development of innovative solutions that improve the care of cancer patients throughout the disease.”

The objective of the program is to boost the potential of the entrepreneurial ecosystem to favor the development of innovative solutions that contribute to improving the quality of life of cancer patients throughout the entire process: at the time of diagnosis, during treatment and follow-up and in daily life with the disease.

The program is aimed at startups in the “seed” phase – with a developed product but in the initial phase – and in the “growth” phase – with product in the market and validated business model both in the oncological area in general and in other areas with a model adaptable to the cancer patient – who develop proposals that can contribute to improving the experience of cancer patients, facilitating the work of the professionals who care for them, or, in general, optimizing the processes and treatments related to the disease.

The selected startups will enter the acceleration program that will be supported and monitored by a group of high-level mentors from Novartis and the Conector network that will share their experience to support and optimize the development of their business models. Likewise, the initiative will offer entrepreneurs the possibility of connecting with patient associations and healthcare professionals to better understand the needs of their recipients and the best way to respond.

All startups that wish to participate can register until February 23rd through the web (http://conector.com/novartis).
